Vaccines and another activity

An excellent weekend, though, you guys, despite the time change that is still trying to kill us.

Now with 6/7 of us vaccinated, I feel so much better about Minnie existing in the world. I mean, I still don't want to take her inside any buildings, but at least I am not so worried that the rest of us will bring the virus home to her. Happy days, indeed.

She hates vaccines but was so brave
Coop was being extra brave to show Dorothy that everything would be OK, and that is truly the most adorable thing. When he is not entertaining himself by seeing how crazy he can drive us before our heads explode, he is the world's sweetest person.
Despite all of the suggestions I got from all of you that we need to do less, we signed Cooper up for hockey (late) about two minutes after his first vaccine dose. WHAT IS WRONG WITH US YOU GUYS WE ARE SO DUMB.

But listen. He is good at hockey, and we haven't let him play because COVID and now he will be vaccinated, so... he should play.

Except! We forgot! That he has sensory issues and the equipment is torture for him. Oops.

You know what helps, though? Letting him suck on hard candy or chew gum while he gets dressed. So, I loaded up his hockey bag with Blow Pops, Tootsie Pops and Double Bubble. I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss hockey rinks and am excited to be back in the stands.
