Cookie revelation.

Ben and I have been married for more than 16 years, and he just now told me how his mom makes perfect chocolate chip cookies. SHE ROLLS THEM INTO BALLS. I have spent my whole life using a cookie scoop to slop them on the parchment paper and then complaining when they spread out, and all this time, all I had to do was make them into balls? I MEAN YOU GUYS. Anyway, it's revolutionary.

Some people in this house like their cookies barely baked, and some of us like them a little crispy. AND I LIKE TO GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT.
Another baby to wear my pumpkin hat collection.
Oh, friends. We had our fall family photos last weekend, and the weather was wonderful. The kids were... not. All 3 boys had giant welts on the backs of their necks because they kept pinching each other in every group shot when they were supposed to put their arms around each other. They wanted to see who would cry first. And then the photog asked everyone to toss leaves in the airs and boys PUNCHED EACH OTHER IN THE FACE with leaves. It was insane.
So think about that when you get our card in the mail.

Also, if you see my mom today, wish her a happy 69th! Happy birthday mom!
