File Under: It Turns Out This Book Is NOT Going to Write Itself

I finally completed a reverse outline of the chick lit novel I have been working on for the last million years, and  ... I have identified some, erm, problems. GAH. Like, why are some chapters 12 pages and some FIFTY SIX pages? And also: IS ANYTHING EVER GOING TO HAPPEN IN THIS BOOK?

Of course, this semester has crept up on me, like all semesters eventually do, and I don't have a lot of dedicated time to work on it. And when I do have time, I think of many other things more pleasant than the deep thought this pile of pages needs, you know? Like procrasti-reading, for example.

OR MAYBE I DON'T KNOW WRITING BLOG POSTS.

I spent the extra money to get the iPhone 14 Pro so I could take gorgeous photos like this one:

I'd definitely suggest you focus on the blog posts this month and then maybe shift and spend the same amount of time on your novel going forward in December? :P

I like Sans idea. NaBloPo is the warm up to getting into novel writing. And if that helps in anyway I love short chapters. Makes me feel I get through a book faster and I actually read more.
