9 Months Old Today!

Dorothy has been alive as long as I was pregnant with her.  And so you would think I would have lost all the weight I gained by now.  And I have, I guess, now that I think about it.  Unfortunately, I am still carrying the weight I gained with Cooper, who is 27 months-old.  Damnit.

Speaking of NOT losing weight.  Here's what I have to bake this week:  4 dozen peanut butter blossoms for a PTO-sponsored teacher cookie exchange on Tuesday; 17 teddy bear sugar cookies for Jack;s class on Wednesday because he is Star of the Week, and it's teddy bear week in kindergarten, so his special Star snack needs to be teddy bear cookies, natch; 2 dozen cookies for a neighborhood cookie exchange on Wednesday night (I think I am going to make regular chocolate chip cookies, only I am using mini peanut butter cups from Trader Joe's in lieu of chocolate chips-- this was Jon's suggestion);  17 snowmen cupcakes for Jack's class party on Thursday; 20 fruit snowmen for Harry's class party on Friday.  So, yeah.  Lots of eating.  I mean baking.

Dorothy is SO BIG.  She is compelled to do this whenever we inquire about her bigness.

They ate most of the Cheerios and puffs off the floor after lunch (Nope.  they did not get dressed this morning, but they DID get dressed this afternoon.  Also, she took a 37-minute nap, and he took an 80 minute nap.  WHAT THE HELL, BABIES?)
 Ornament hijinks.
She gives kisses-- pursed lips and "mwah" sound and all

  1. Kisses! Avery gives kisses, but about half the time she bites your lip and won't let go. It's like baby Russian Roulette.
The pb cup cookies sound amazing!

Hmmm... By my math, you got pregnant with that previous little Dorothy when Cooper was 9 mths old. Look how incredibly fantastically awesome that turned out!!! Hint...hint...hint....
