1. Minnie, mostly: A quick batch of cut out cookies that Minnie ate pretty much by herself. We used this recipe because, like Minnie, it has NO CHILL.
2. Me: Kind of a mess of my hair. I was overdue for some gray coverage-- Madison Reed to the rescue! Am Very Dark now, but whatever-- there's anew season of Wednesday after all.
3. Also me: A lasagna without red sauce, which I didn't even realize was a thing until I started going through the steps of the recipe and was like when is it going to tell me to make the sauce and it never did.
4. Dorothy: This charming color poster that I adore, misspellings and all (she is her mother's daughter).
5. Jack: Another college visit day and an oratory final at a tourney in Iowa-- is he getting closer to a college decision?????? I hope so!

I think your hair looks great! And, as a friend said to me after my first salon visit in the pandemic where my hair stylist made my hair super dark, colour fades. So even if you don't like it, it will change!
ReplyDeleteOmg I love the cookies!!! And, I agree with Nicole- your hair looks great.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to find out where Jack is going to college!!! When does he decide?
The no chill cookies made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI thought Jack was going to Bradley??
ReplyDeleteI cannot even fathom making sugar cookies on a weekday. When do you find the time? Our week days are such a gong show... but we are all gone from 7-5ish, then there's piano practice, homework, and reading for Paul. Taco goes to bed at 7:30 so our week nights are just very very short.
Yes, I thought he had decided on Bradley? Maybe I had misinterpreted a previous post. We haven't done any college visits yet but am kind of itching to get going on that. Although I'm unsure exactly when they'll fit in... did you go to Whitewater with him for this tour? Do you just pull him from school and take off work to go on tours? I feel like it would be ideal to go on a weekday, but...there aren't very many No School days that aren't holidays!
ReplyDeleteyes, they get so many excused days for college visits junior and senior year, and i have tons of flexibility. Admitted student days have parent programming, too. We did not tour when he applied, just after he was accepted and narrowing down
