Thursday stuff and nonsense

I went for a walk with a work friend who had a baby a few months ago, and I of course came home wanting a tiny baby of my own. But not really. I think my baby days are over for real. I KNOW RIGHT. And I know I have said this before. But I turn 44 next month, and I think I really mean t this time. Who knew.

Plenty of baby:

I have been working out more lately, and even though I didn’t think I had enough time to work out more, I have, of course, been able to find it. If I sleep too long in the morning to go a whole 45 minutes, I add another quick elliptical session as soon as Minnie goes down for a nap and knock the rest out OR I schedule an outdoor walk. All in all, this is like 2 extra workouts a week, so that feels good.

It’s a busy end of semester, so we are just sort of letting Minnie raise herself.

There’s really no way for us to make it through our weekend in one piece this weekend, unless it rains. There’s not currently any rain in the forecast, but I am not giving up hope.

Harry has a tennis match. Jack has an all-day dress rehearsal for Guys and Dolls. Dorothy has a dance contest, and it’s Little League opening day for Ben and Coop. Then on Sunday, Jack has 2 shows. Cooper has another game. Jack and Cooper both have a 2-hour dive clinic at the university, and Dorothy has softball practice. GAH.

On a brighter note— I have been setting a bedtime alarm, and it is an amazing tip OF COURSE IT IS— I’ve heard about it FOREVER and have never though it applied to me because I always go to bed before 11. But now! I am going to bed at 10 and that extra hour is all the difference.

Sometimes wakes up twice a night:
