I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner, and the only thing I have made so far is a cookie exchange quantity of peanut butter blossoms. For 9 people. I gotta lock in.
Our Thanksgiving outdoor decor died THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING. First our blow up turkey passed away in the middle of the night (he was just a weird little deflated puddle on the lawn when Minnie went out to take her before school picture) and then our giant white pumpkins started sweating from the inside.
SPEAKING OF READING! This month, I have pretty much only read blogs. Which is so fun! But also my books stats are trash.

I am glad I only have to bring the crudite and dips to Thanksgiving plus fall-shaped sugar cookies for the boys to decorate with their cousins. I am almost the youngest which means no one would trust me to host an actual holiday. lol. Plus we do not have room to host my large family. I am glad we can just leave when we have had enough socializing and use our kids’ early bedtimes as an excuse to cut and run!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the Thanksgiving cooking! We have only made cranberry sauce, but plan to cook a lot today.
ReplyDeleteOfficially I am bringing 3 items (fake turkey for the vegetarians, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato pudding…wait, that’s 4 things) but looking at my list of things to remember, there are 9. We’ve hosted the last couple of years, and I’m so glad we’re NOT hosting this year. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkins started sweating from the inside? What does that even mean?
