September: What I Read

Skip

The Unraveling of  Cassidy Holmes by Elissa R.Sloan: A badly written Daisy Jones wannabe.  Hated it.

Don't Turn Around by Jessica Barry A preachy thriller.  Weird combo.

Maybe get from the library

Stray by Stephanie Dandler: Sweetbitter was SO good I had to read this memoir which was... not quite as good.

Beauty in the Breaking by Michele Harper: This memoir by an ER doc was terrific.

Read

You Can't Catch Me by Catherine McKenzie: Great thriller.

The Night Swim by Megan Goldin: A great thriller.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins: I DO love The Hunger Games and would for sure read 2 more early Snow books.

In Five Years by Rebecca Serle: READ this! Loved it-- a little cheesy but that's what I need right now, apparently.

Buy these right now

The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward: Loved this one so much. I love dysfunctional family vacay books.

Followers by Megan Angelo: I love dystopian social media media, and this book is GREAT.

Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi: This is a lovely and perfect book.
