That was our shoe circle sitting near the door of our Peoria hotel room because we spent the second! weekend! in! a! ROW!! in P-town this time for Parents' Weekend at Bradley.
We enjoyed a pickleball tourney, cookies the size of our faces, dinner and dessert with my mom and Steve, some Peoria shoe shopping for Jack, and the Peoria Riverfront Museum's America 250 exhibit.
Stay tuned because we have Eau Claire Parents' Weekend in just a couple weeks!

ReplyDeleteOH NO to seeing off the alarm!! Haha OOOOPs. My Dad is getting chemo right now and at the infusion center they have a little board with a call light- one button is emergency, one is just to call the nurse. Well, that board is situated at shoulder height of the person who is sitting on the bench seat. I cannot tell you how many times I've bumped that alarm!
ReplyDeleteI have to call you out/applaud you for attending all these parent weekends as a parent of 5 kids. I'm one of 5 and my parents did NOT come to parent weekends! I was the 4th kid, though, so they were probably burned out on it by that point... plus they ran a business and it was always peak busy season when parent weekends happened. But to be clear, I really did not care AT ALL that they did not come to parents weekend. I can only recall one friend's parents coming so maybe it's less about the # of kids you have and more that parenting is more hands on in this era?
