It is so cold I need to put a coat on my dog who has fur. WHY DO I LIVE HERE?
We made oatmeal scotchies-- not on my holiday baking list but delicious. And! Now that I have a reasonable relationship with sweets, we have SO MANY left a couple days out from baking. Apparently, I was my own best customer.
Dorothy and Cooper's school is having a spirit week, and middle school is probably the perfect audience for dress up days. The kids like them, and they also need zero help achieving their lewks. Dorothy's friend even went to Target and bought matching shirts for her and Dorothy for twin day, and Dorothy paid her back- - so grown up! Here are Cooper and Dorothy in their dive and dance uniforms for "dress like your obsession" day. (Minnie's school has a sparkle day on Friday, but that's it). (Jack says the high school is also doing themed days, but only the staff participates).
Minnie keeps writing notes to the Elf on the Shelf, who feels obligated to respond. EVERY NIGHT.

When it gets so cold that we have to limit our dog walks to 10 minutes IT'S TOO COLD.

Ha, yes middle school is a good age for spirit week, UNLIKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, where all the work falls on the parents. Annabel in a coat... yes I guess it is ridiculously cold there!

ReplyDeleteToday is Wrong Occasion Wednesday over here, so one of them is dressed for Halloween and one of them is off to a funeral. 😂
ReplyDeleteIt has warmed up significantly here so hopefully that weather is heading your way. It's melting our snow and causing ice which I loathe but I guess it's better than a high of 5F? I just really want snow for christmas or it doesn't feel Christmasy to me! But I then want temps in the 20s so it's not terribly cold. I'm picky!
