2025 BOOKS OF THE YEEEEEAR

  6. The Bright Years by Sarah Damoff

  9. The Compound by Aisling Rawle
  10. Woodworking by Emily St. James
I read 184 books (as of this second-- I will likely finish with a couple more because we are traveling, and I always read a ton in trips. Thanks to Goodreads, here they aaaaaaall are.

    I've read... one book in your Top Ten! (The Correspondent, such a great book).

    I'll post my best books in January but The Correspondent and Heart the Lover will both be on my list. We are reading Culpability for book club. I really liked The Bright Years and Buckeye but they didn't make my best books cut off.

    I read The Bright Years based on your recommendation and loved it. I found myself crying on a flight home reading it but I loved how it explored grief, different types of love and figuring life out. It was a top read of mine too.

    I also loved the Correspondent, and I'm currently reading Buckeye- but I'm not enjoying it- do I keep going and it gets better or does it stay the same all the way through? I see lots of other books that we have in common on your list!
