1. Baking
FALL. I love FALL. Especially fall baking! Behold, some ugly pictures of some delicious things I baked last week (and cracked the code on indulging in. I ate them when I made them and then... not again. EASY PEASY).
Oatmeal raisin cookies (some for my TAs and some for home; I add a good slug of molasses to the linked recipe)

2. Thinking ahead to the holidays. Do I need 8 of these for my couch? MAYBE.
3. MUMS. Glorious mums. ON SALE.4. College application season is OVER at this house. I love early college decisions!! YAY JACK!!
5. Sight word season (she slept in that shirt of Coper's and wore it ALL DAY Sunday. When we played rose-bud-thorn at the dinner table, her rose was wearing PJs and playing video game all day (mother of the YEAR)).
Wait, does that mean Jack has decided to GO to Bradley? Or just that he was accepted at Bradley? Either way, congrats!!
ReplyDeleteOh boy- now I want to do some fall baking! I'm thinking something with apples...
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Jack! I have the same question as Kae- is he still weighing options? Must be a relief to be done and have an acceptance!
Yes, you absolutely do need those couch cushions... and so do I : )
Envious of your college app season over. Your fall baking looks so good. I baked most of my dessert GF for today’s tailgate and that night trip me up- way too easy to over do it. Several of Minis friends are GF as she is in the dorm for kids with allergies- I think because it has a dedicated kitchen.
ReplyDeletePajamas all day!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Jack!!!! Woot woot!
Congratulations to Jack!!!

Pajamas-and-video-game-days rock. Also I need to make apple cookies now. Go Jack!
ReplyDeleteMy trick is to not bake. There are 3 of us, and the other two won’t really eat any. If I went into an office, I could bring baked goods to share, but I don’t.
ReplyDeleteI’m excited for Jack, and YAY for getting that process over early!
