3 hours was niiiiice, even though I did have to run Dorothy to to the pool and back during that time.
This week's theme was Moana, and they danced to 2 songs from the movie-- I should have videoed the performance since they did the dance twice, but it was too fun to just watch and take the occasional photo.
Iced cafe americano 1/2 decaf with a splash iof skim milk **chef's kiss**
I have a new favorite afternoon snack: a sliced apple (I prefer honey crisp, but I got a bag of cosmic crisp from Costco, and they are excellent) dipped in a tbsp of melted peanut or almond butter with a tbsp of chia seeds mixed in. SO GOOD YOU GUYS (and only 6 grams of protein but 10 grams of fiber!). Sometimes I eat this right after dinner if my afternoon goes by too fast, and it is an excellent way to round out the meal.
I love the Moana soundtrack so much and I love that Minnie got to dance to it. She is so cute in her little grass skirt.
ReplyDeleteLoved your health goals in your last post and am inspired to look into the weighted vest and HRT! May also finally order Daria's acupressure mat...
ReplyDeleteOoh yes- three hours to yourself with a Starbucks run thrown in there. I love it! And omg could Minnie be any cuter- I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteI am the same with white tees, they look so great on me for about 30 minutes and then I will inevitably get something on it.
ReplyDeleteI used to eat an apple every dang day - with peanut butter. It was the prefect afternoon snack that could keep me going until dinner. then I was diagnosed with SIBO and apples are on the food to avoid list. So that sucks. Honeycrisp are my fav apples too.
ReplyDeleteThe dance photos are so stinking cute. Love the Hawaiin flare.
I'm scouring your blog for the books that you voted as best of the year candidates. Need something to listen to and /or read when I travel to Louisville tomorrow (I think, assuming my dad's surgery goes well).
I put Kay in summer school this week, and it def counted for self care for me. I needed a break.
ReplyDeleteI love Moana, that must have been adorable! The kids love Honeycrisp apples, I am a die-hard McIntosh girl.
