I am on my 4th one of these coffee pots. The PERFECT SIZE for me (I drink half caff) and programmable. I actually think I solved the mystery of why it has been so hard to get out of bed-- my program button has been broken, but I have been letting it ride. Finally, the regular on/off button stopped working, and I was forced to get a new pot. And now? I leap out of bed to the smell of coffee. **shrug**
(also, this is a FINE coffee pot. The grounds are always equally wet, which is a good sign, and the coffee tastes great for the first and second cup. After that it tastes like coffee that's been sitting on a hot plate, but I use a big mug and generally drink it all in 2 cups. I decant any extra into a travel mug to stay warm in there, and if I want good coffee, I use a Chemex or French press. Ben keeps sending me links to fancy mother's day coffee pots and espresso machines, but I think I am happy wit the Mr.).
All of this stuff!
Good old JC Penney for kid suits! The reason they win is that they sell the suit pants in a variety of waist and inseam sizes, so if you need a suit you can wear off the rack, say, THE DAY BEFORE PROM, you are all set. Macy's has more options but generally sells pants that must be tailored at the waist and cuffs, which is no bueno if you are a procrastinator.
All of this stuff!
The wake up call eye patches that are Ulta brand are THE BEST ONES I have found ($19)
That EOS lotion (I also use the body wash and spray) smells like cookies ($8)
The Cerave vitamin C serum is so good under moisturizer. ($20-ish)
Ordinary caffeine serum is the GOAT ($10)
Cerave retinol serum is SO GOOD under night cream ($25-ish)
I wear the Ordinary sunscreen serum for jogging post sunrise ($19)
TJ's sheet masks are the very best on the market ($3)
the CUTEST little patterned scalloped sock liners from DSW. $15 for.a 6-pack and totally solved my problem!
Any deals you've found lately??

Ooh, I like the looks of some of those face products. My current skincare regimen has been...moisturizer, the end. I should probably up my game.
ReplyDeleteAnd lol about the last minute suit. Same thing happened over here! Except Ethan was figuring out his outfit the MORNING OF PROM. Thankfully, he was able to wear one of my husband's suits. I think they might have run to JcPenney to get a new tie though, too! haha. Can you imagine your daughter doing that on the day before prom!? bahaha.
Ha ha... I like the boys' approach to prom. That was not our experience here!!!
ReplyDeleteEngie also wrote about an eye mask today, and I've realized I'm in dire need of intervention. Let's just say I was taking a selfie in unflattering lighting (yes, let's blame the lighting) and things did NOT LOOK GOOD. I need serums and eye masks! I'll have to google some of the things you're talking about because I'm not even sure where to start.
I couldn't click the link fast enough when this came up in Feedly. The shoes are so cute.
ReplyDeleteTeam Small, Not Fancy Drip Coffee Maker 4 Life!!! I only allow myself one cup of coffee a day because otherwise it messes with my sleep (although lol what do I have to lose there at this point?), but that one cup of coffee is VERY IMPORTANT. If there was any reason to have a more expensive coffee maker, then I would have one. There isn't. The End.
I LOL about ‘if I want a good cup of coffee’. The issues with the FP and Pour Over are that they don’t wake you up to the smell of coffee, correct? I don’t know that there’s a way for that to happen, unless someone else gets up first and makes your coffee for you. My grandpa used to get up and make coffee in the morning and bring my grandma a cup in bed, which she drank with a straw. After he died, she made herself a cup, and took it back to bed and drank it with her straw. <3
ReplyDeleteEveryone with the eye patches today. My daughter wears them, I should give them a try. I clearly need them much more than she does.
Ok, I did not know that TJ's has sheet masks. Into it. I don't know where to start with serums, so this is fun! I just wash my face and sometimes use (also TJs) facial toner.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your scalloped socks. Um, the only deal here . . . maybe that I added the bustle to Curly's prom dress myself.
ReplyDeleteI'm super into Aveeno body lotion for everything (hands, face, and body!), but the travel sizes are expensive. I finally bought one of these reusable silicone travel containers at CVS and it worked perfectly!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I am forever strugging with puffy eyes and dark circles. Guess who is buying The Ordinary Caffeine serum today!! This girl!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've discovered Azure Tan's anti-aging serum that has a gradual tan builder. I'm *loving* putting that on at night under my moisturiser, my skin definitely has been looking and feeling a lot better for it.
I have under eye masks with retinol, and the days I feel like such a zombie they're so nice to use!
I am taking NOTES about your skincare products. I'm due to try out some new stuff!
ReplyDeleteI used a Mr. Coffee for yeeeears. Those things LAST FOREVER.
